Tip Of The Day: Track Airfares

In pervious blog posts we told you to track flights a couple of months out to buy tickets when the price is lowest.  Well that meant a little bit of work.  Cleaning your browsing history regularly and time checking all the flights.  It does take time to plan a trip, although it doesn’t have to take so much elbo greese.  Now you can use Hopper, an app for your phone that allows you to put in and track or “watch” airfares.  This app allows you to track the price of fairs for the locations and dates you are looking to travel. The app also will send you alerts as to when prices change and if you should keep waiting for a lower fair.  It really takes the guesswork out of getting an afodable ticket.  If you don’t want another app for your phone you can also use Airfarewatchdog to track flights and hotels for your trip on your laptop.
